Shri
5 Padmavatipuri Dham,
Panna, Madhya Pradesh.
Panna is the place, where Mahamati Shri Prannathji first met the brave king Chhatrasal of Bundel Khand. Shri Prannathji blessed Chhatrasal, and gifted him the sword, which was called Jalpukar. With the help of this sword, Chhatrasal was able to easily defeat the Mughal soldiers in and around Mhow. Shri Prannathji also blessed the land of Panna to yield diamonds, which gave Chhatrasal the wealth-power to confront the tyrant Aurangazeb. Wishing to establish a new Panna on Vindhyachal mountain range Shri Prannathji chose a plane-even land, which he saw from an altitude, and hoisted a flag "Shreejika Jhanda" there with his own hands. That flag can be seen even today.
Shri Prannathji remained in Panna for eleven years, and left his body for the Supreme Abode also here only. The place is known as Muktipeetha, and the temple established there is called Padmavatipuri Dham.
Shri Gummatji :
The place where Shri Prannathji took samadhi is called Gummatji. This is a cirrular structure, with nine domes adorning it. There are 8 domes in eight directions, and a huge dome in the centre, on which the Kalash is kept. On the top there is Shri Panjaji, figure of an open palm, which glitters. Its darshan quenches the spiritual thirst. The place is very charming and bestows peace in the minds of devotees. Shri Gummatji is so designed by Mahamati Shri Prannathji that certain aspects of Divya Paramdham are imbibed in the building's construction.
Shri Bangalaji :
This is a large bungalow covered by copper sheets at the top. This was made by Chhatrasal for Shri Prannathji, Shri Prannathji used to give discourses to his devotees here, seated on a throne.
Shri Chopada Mandir :
This is the place where Chhatrasal received initiation from Shri Prannathji. A temple was built there, and is called Chopada Mandir. Placing his feet on two spots, Shri Prannathji, produced two water-springs, which are present in the form of 2 tanks even today (Kund), and go by the names of Ganga and Jamuna.
Shri Sadguru Mandir :
This is the temple of Nijanandacharya Shri Devchandraji, which was established by Shri Prannathji in memory of his Guru. The sacred Guru-Gadi which was carried during his journey till he reached Panna was also installed in this Shri Sadguru Mandir.
Shri Baijuraj Maharani Mandir :
This is a temple built in memory of Anant Vibhushit Shri Baijuraj Maharani or Tej Kunvari Maharani who was in fact the better half of Shri Prannathji. It is a beautiful temple established in 1693 A.D. (V.S. 1750).
Khijada Mandir :
This is the place where Shri Prannathji presented the sacred sword Jalpukar to king Chhatrasal, in 1685 A.D. (V.S. 1742), on the Dashera day. Chhatrasal was able to defeat the Mughal soldiers with the blessings of Shri Prannathji. Because there was a Khijada tree there earlier, the temple is called Khijada Mandir.
